Quality on the Plate and in the design

At Göteborg’s newly opened Restaurang Human, the focus is on quality – both in the food and the design. This is reflected, among other things, by the choice of Troldtekt acoustic ceilings.

Human Restaurang, which is situated on Risåsgatan in central Gothenburg, opened its doors in autumn 2021. The chef, Martin Moses, is behind the new restaurant, which previously housed a sports bar.

Prior to opening, the premises thus needed refurbishing. The restaurant’s values are very much centred on quality – as reflected in the seasonal menus as well as in the interior design.

There is seating for 45 diners, who can watch their meals being created in the open kitchen.

Colours and materials

The style is Nordic and the colours are natural beige and brown in combination with a contrasting deep blue on the lamps and in the kitchen. Much of the furniture is second-hand, including vintage chairs from Småland. Otherwise, the furniture is made of wood.

Classic Troldtekt acoustic panels in natural wood have been chosen for the ceilings, which supports the the use of circular materials. In addition, the acoustic ceilings ensure a comfortable sound environment. The lamp rail above the dining tables is integrated into the Troldtekt ceiling.
