All-in-one solution
When the housing association was deciding on the interior design of the new common house, they chose a ceiling with many good properties.
Ringgården in the centre of Silkeborg has undergone a major renovation, and in the process, a room at street level was converted into common rooms for the housing association’s residents. In addition to a large, bright room with windows facing the street, there are secondary rooms such as a kitchen, toilet and storage room. Acoustics are an important parameter in a room that has to be able to accommodate many types of events, and the housing association therefore opted for a Troldtekt solution given that it is a well-known product with many design solutions.
Practical, precise, neat
The choice was a completely new design solution with a visible profile system. At the same time, the Troldtekt panels have grooves that make the ceiling more distinctive. This result is a ceiling that is practical, because it is suspended and can be removed without tools. The lighting is also elegantly integrated into the ceiling surface. The white-painted Troldtekt panel based on FUTURECEM is milled with an extra half groove corresponding to half a profile width and thus the profiles support the panels.
The long lines of the ceiling consist primarily of the panel grooves that align with precision, marking a direction. At the same time, the profiles have two directions, providing an elegant repetition across the ceiling surface. The design solution works well in both small and large spaces alike, and in the common house it becomes a natural way to tie all of the rooms together.
