Consultants and project owners are now able to download environmental product declarations (EPDs) for eight different types of Troldtekt acoustic panels based on FUTURECEM™ cement. The life cycle analyses show that the panels have a reduced carbon footprint.

Troldtekt is now launching two new variants of its award-winning design solutions. Troldtekt® v-line 1way and Troldtekt® v-line 2way acoustic panels feature elegant v-shaped grooves milled into the surface. Troldtekt v-line is based on the classic 25 mm Troldtekt acoustic panels, and can be produced at very competitive prices.

Troldtekt has reached another milestone as part of its strategic work with sustainability: The entire range of Troldtekt cement-bonded wood wool products has moved up a level in the sustainable design concept Cradle to Cradle – from Silver to Gold. The new certificate has been achieved after switching to new paint recipes in production. 

Troldtekt A/S, the Danish producer of acoustic panels made from wood and cement, becomes a part of the Irish Kingspan Group. Thus, Troldtekt joins a global group that shares the vision of a sustainable construction industry. The new ownership will prepare the company for continued international growth – with a significant production expansion in Denmark.

Consultants and developers can now download new environmental product declarations (EPDs) for 12 different Troldtekt cement-bonded wood wool products. The EPDs document the environmental impact throughout the entire life cycle of the acoustic panels. The new versions also take into account the thickness of the panels and thus their density.

Offices are so yesterday – the modern form of the workplace, so-called workspaces, are the new work model. In combination with a lobby, meeting rooms, work stations which are no longer personalised and even public cafés, office buildings are now meeting places for service providers, freelancers and other independent workers.

New documentation shows that Troldtekt withstands moisture levels of up to 98 per cent – combined with high temperatures. This shows that the panels are suitable for the most demanding wet and warm environments in, for example, swimming pools.
